About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead support for client front office leadership in planning events, coordinating communications, and facilitating operational processes
- Develop, draft, and deliver written communications, presentations, talking points, and briefings for client leadership
- Manage internal correspondence and ensure timely, accurate information sharing on priority topics within CISA
- Plan, coordinate, and execute meetings, workshops, and large-scale events, including logistics, staffing, agendas, materials, and on-site technology support
- Support scheduling, task management, action-item tracking, leadership readouts, and workflow management
- Maintain and refine operational processes to improve team efficiency, communication, and stakeholder engagement
- Assist with workforce engagement initiatives, onboarding, training logistics, and employee experience support
- Build working relationships across federal partners
- Draft and review documentation for formatting, accuracy, and compliance
- Synthesize internal and external agency priorities into implications and decisions for leadership
- Prepare executive briefings, decision papers, talking points, strategic plans, roadmaps, and engagement materials
- Establish action-tracking and governance processes for decisions, risks, dependencies, commitments, and follow-up activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding
- Candidates with an active Public Trust or suitability are preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- Five (5) or more years' experience in consulting, program management, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, or a related advisory role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong public speaking and facilitation skills
- Proven ability to plan and execute events, meetings, or conferences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with federal organizational structures, communications protocols, or operational rhythms
- Experience supporting executive leadership or front office/chief of staff functions
- Ability to manage a small team and solve problems in ambiguous situations
- Ability to translate complex information into executive-level insights and recommendations
- Experience developing strategic plans, roadmaps, briefings, decision materials, and implementation plans
- Understanding of CISA roles, authorities, governance structures, and operating environments
- Experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience leading large-scale workforce operations or employee experience initiatives in complex organizations
- Proven track record in change management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and drive actionable insights
- Ability to lead organizational transformation and manage resistance to change
- Ability to build relationships across departments and influence without authority
