About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist customers with the design, implementation, security, and operational management of generative AI security solutions
  • Conduct secure configuration reviews and security assessments of enterprise AI platforms
  • Lead threat modeling exercises for AI workloads
  • Assess AI coding tools and development environments for sandbox isolation, plugin allowlisting, secrets access, network egress controls, and CI/CD security
  • Advise clients on securely integrating SaaS AI services and APIs into enterprise applications
  • Evaluate controls for data ingestion pipelines, RAG architectures, and vector databases
  • Conduct shadow AI discovery engagements
  • Evaluate AI platform security controls and guardrails, including IAM, DLP, conditional access, SIEM, logging, human-in-the-loop mechanisms, and runtime protections
  • Design, build, and deploy AI agent workflows
  • Perform security architecture reviews for AI agent deployments and deliver reference architectures and recommendations
  • Develop secure configuration review reports, findings registers, AI security control matrices, reference architectures, risk assessments, control frameworks, and enablement roadmaps
  • Contribute to clients’ long-term AI security strategies, maturity assessments, and investment recommendations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business, AI/ML, IT operations, and information security stakeholders
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate knowledge-transfer sessions
  • Monitor emerging AI security research, adversarial techniques, regulatory developments, and vendor advisories

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in security engineering with a significant focus on cloud security and/or application security
  • Hands-on experience implementing, managing, securing, and supporting agentic AI solutions within an enterprise context
  • Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Microsoft Copilot
  • Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry, or Google Vertex
  • Solid understanding of generative AI concepts, LLMs, context engineering, agentic tool usage, and foundational AI/ML principles
  • Operational experience using agentic coding assistants such as Claude Code, Open Code, Cursor, or Codex
  • Understanding of AI-specific security challenges including prompt injection, data poisoning, supply chain security, model extraction attacks, excessive agency, and privilege escalation through tool chaining
  • Ability to produce client-facing assessment reports, findings registers, control matrices, and reference architecture documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred: AWS Certified AI Practitioner, AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Claude Certified Architect
  • Preferred: model fine-tuning experience
  • Preferred: Cedar or Rego and IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or OpenTofu
  • Preferred: agentic AI architecture design and implementation
  • Preferred: MCP client/server architecture familiarity
  • Preferred: AI security tooling experience, including AISPM, AI runtime protection, or AI control plane platforms
  • Preferred: consulting, professional services, or managed services delivery experience
  • Up to 10% travel
