About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support development and execution of event strategies aligned with GuidePoint's brand and business goals
  • Assist in planning and managing events end-to-end, including pre-event, during-event, and post-event activities
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to maximize pipeline impact
  • Track, compile, and report event ROI and attribution metrics
  • Maintain communication and processes with leadership, Sales, and other teams for event execution and follow-up
  • Use Salesforce, Marketo, CVENT, and related marketing tools to support event operations
  • Coordinate Vendor and Tier-2 events, including conferences, trade shows, vendor sponsorships, and internal company events
  • Manage event communications, documentation, registration, shipping coordination, and on-site execution
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors including agencies, catering, logistics, facilities, and shipping
  • Support integrated marketing campaigns and co-marketing sponsorships tied to events
  • Co-own corporate marketing assets such as newsletters and all-hands slides
  • Manage event budgets and timelines
  • Maintain consistent GuidePoint messaging and brand presence across event experiences
  • Serve as on-site lead for smaller events and provide on-site support for larger events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B event marketing (corporate environment preferred)
  • Marketo, CVENT, or related marketing platform experience required
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a positive, solution-oriented approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50%
  • Sedentary work with periods of physical activity during events
  • Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
