About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Product Marketing team vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with overall company goals
- Lead and scale go-to-market strategy and execution for new and existing service solution offerings
- Oversee launch planning, sales enablement, and competitive positioning
- Translate technical content from subject matter experts into compelling collateral and thought leadership
- Position GuidePoint's professional services based on thought leadership and competitive perspectives
- Apply understanding of buyer personas and the enterprise purchase journey
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform services positioning and executive decision-making
- Work cross-functionally with Professional Services, Sales, Corporate Marketing, and Regional Marketing to ensure cohesive GTM execution and consistent messaging
- Oversee content strategy including blogs, white papers, case studies, webinars, and executive presentations
- Build and develop the Product Marketing team
- Manage budget and resource allocation to drive measurable pipeline and sales enablement impact
- Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and serve on the Corporate Marketing leadership team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 12+ years' experience in marketing with at least 3 years in a people leadership role
- Significant cybersecurity or information security industry experience
- Managed services or professional services background strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills with experience engaging executive-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated success defining market positioning and launching differentiated products/services that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including thought leadership and executive-level content development
- Subject matter expertise in cybersecurity products and services, including specific industry and technical knowledge
- Willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools
- Deep understanding of how a product/service is sold and the channels they are sold into
- Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams at the executive level
- Experience building trusted partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Leadership
- Experience managing and developing direct reports, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Up to 20% travel required, including industry conferences, customer engagements, and company events
- Sedentary work
- Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Close visual acuity to view computer terminal and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
