About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct and manage the marketing operations team, including project management and administration
Manage projects and pipelines to ensure timely delivery of marketing campaigns
Oversee marketing project management software, new hire orientation and training, and department policy, process, and procedure documentation
Simplify systems and processes while avoiding customization bloat, technical debt, and over-engineered processes
Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs
Develop and manage the annual marketing budget and resource projections
Supervise marketing administration to ensure customer service, compliance, and efficient operations
Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and programs
Direct the development and implementation of marketing projects aligned with stakeholders and senior leadership
Supervise the department and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to marketing professionals
Foster a high-performing, creative, and caring workplace culture
Work with external vendors
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or equivalent experience
At least 7 years of experience in a marketing operations role
Demonstrated experience with agile project management principles
Experience with project management software and systems, including evaluation and improvement
Experience in CRM solutions and marketing automation
Experience working in a digital marketing environment
High proficiency in Microsoft and Salesforce software environments
Experience in mortgage, real estate, or insurance preferred
Proven track record of success in managing a team and driving results
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to develop team members and small support staff
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ethical, with a commitment to company values
Limited supervision required, depending on experience
High level of independent judgment and discretion
Willingness/ability to work with external vendors
Travel: 0–20%
