About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end enablement strategy for Gusto's channel partner ecosystem
  • Design and deliver partner onboarding, continuous education, certification programs, and just-in-time resources
  • Define partner enablement methodology, frameworks, principles, and standards
  • Build, adapt, and improve existing enablement programs
  • Advise senior leadership on enablement investment, program design, and partner activation conditions
  • Own accountability for partner-sourced revenue, activation rates, and program ROI
  • Use performance data to influence channel partner strategy and GTM prioritization
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Revenue, Revenue Operations, Product, and Marketing
  • Design learner-centered education programs and certification tracks for professional partners
  • Monitor industry, regulatory, and competitive trends and translate them into enablement strategies
  • Research and apply emerging AI tools and methodologies to scale program design, development, and delivery
  • Help define Gusto's perspective on AI in partner enablement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Substantial experience in partner enablement, sales enablement, or professional training
  • Proven track record designing and delivering enablement programs that improve partner activation, engagement, and revenue contribution
  • Ability to independently lead learning initiatives end-to-end, from needs analysis through delivery and post-program evaluation
  • Experience designing and facilitating training sessions for professional audiences
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally
  • Solid foundation in education design and modality selection
  • Hands-on experience with content creation, curation, and knowledge management platforms
  • Passion for partnerships and creative approaches to partner success
  • Comfort operating in urgency and ambiguity
  • Conflict management skills and composure in a fast-paced, partner-facing environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% annually to partner training events and industry conferences
  • Active engagement with AI tools relevant to the role and willingness to grow AI fluency
