About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead long-term product strategy through research, customer and market positioning, product direction, and identification of required investments and capabilities
Translate strategy into actionable guidance for company-wide planning and execution
Identify highest-leverage investments and decisions to build a market-winning payroll tax offering
Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, CX, Marketing, Sales, and Operations
Uncover insights, validate assumptions, build alignment, and create shared context
Clarify requirements, initiate strategic initiatives, and embed with teams to drive execution
Own development of new payroll tax business lines and 0-to-1 products
Lead discovery, strategy, and execution for new AI-powered payroll tax products
Deliver new revenue and retain existing revenue

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of hands-on product management experience
3+ years of success building 0 to 1 products
Deep product discovery skills and ability to navigate a high degree of ambiguity
Experience building 0 to 1 products in highly regulated categories
Experience building personalized products or optimized workflows using Gen AI/ML
Extraordinary cross-functional collaboration and leadership
Ability to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends
Ability to build business cases, define product vision and strategy, and create supporting roadmaps
Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for the mission
Deep empathy for customers
Experience building products at scale with good UX
Payroll/payroll tax experience is a bonus
