Key responsibilities & impact

Own outcomes across the full expansion funnel, from customer need discovery through ongoing value adoption
Shape technical approach and architecture for recommendations and conversion journeys
Make scoping decisions and ship iterative product versions
Design experiments and use data to determine what to scale or cut
Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to shape the roadmap
Provide technical direction, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, scope work, and delegate to team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of software development experience
Experience building and shipping full-stack, customer-facing products at scale
Product-minded engineering approach focused on customer problems and meaningful metrics
Experience in a growth, lifecycle, or conversion-focused context, or demonstrated ability to think this way
Ability to move quickly and execute with high quality
Experience owning multi-quarter initiatives end to end through measurable business impact
Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through influence
Experience with large-scale refactors, performance, and reliability work
Strong technical ownership of a product area
Track record of mentoring engineers and scaling team impact
Ability to identify and prioritize technical or product opportunities
Experience leveraging AI tools or systems for development, testing, and product capabilities
Ability to build maintainable, well-documented code
Ability to communicate across engineering teams and business stakeholders
Experience or interest in Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL, and TypeScript is nice to have
