About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and ship features end to end across the .NET backend and Next.js frontend for Nova and Atlas
Occasionally support other teams' Python or Go codebases
Take projects from technical design through production rollout
Make independent technical decisions and deliver reliable, scalable, maintainable solutions
Use AI agents throughout the development lifecycle, evaluating and improving their output
Follow trunk-based development and document technical decisions with Architecture Decision Records
Own production systems, including monitoring, alerts, API performance, and incident management
Work with large PostgreSQL datasets and optimize queries using tools such as pganalyze
Collaborate through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering workflow improvements
Improve products and workflows proactively
Participate in team support rotation and eventually provide out-of-hours support for critical incidents
Build cybersecurity products that support customers' critical workflows and help shape AI-assisted software engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience building APIs using an enterprise web framework
Hands-on experience in .NET / C#
Frontend development experience with a reactive framework, preferably React
TypeScript experience
Good eye for design and UX
Ability to turn low-fidelity wireframes into functional, user-friendly features
Solid understanding of SQL databases and ORMs
Fundamental system design knowledge, including caching and deployments
Ability to assess how changes can impact the wider system
Extensive but pragmatic use of AI tools and agents
Ability to critically evaluate AI output and retain ownership of technical decisions
Curiosity about new technologies and engineering trends
Clear communication and effective collaboration with technical and non-technical colleagues
