About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent Haemonetics’ products to new and existing customers while achieving sales expectations and quota for an assigned territory
  • Drive daily sales objectives focused on territory growth, including new-account targeting, cultivation, and launch planning
  • Develop and execute quarterly quota-based territory business plans and sales strategies
  • Direct training and education planning during account launches
  • Present and implement Performance Guarantees and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Transfer account knowledge and requested information to the leadership team
  • Develop physician champions and gain access to targeted accounts using corporate resources
  • Present to physician leaders, executive service-line directors, supply-chain leaders, and C-suite staff
  • Develop KOL advocates regionally and nationally
  • Support Corporate Accounts contract discussions and facilitate new-product approvals, including Value Analysis approval
  • Provide device-suitability guidance and comprehensive technical support involving imaging modalities, EKG, blood pressure, hemodynamic waveforms, and ancillary procedural solutions
  • Coordinate clinical specialists around the business plan
  • Deliver clinical and economic presentations to customers, committees, and relevant staff
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, including KOL cultivation
  • Develop hospital administrative relationships and execute corporate contracts where appropriate
  • Share product knowledge across the organization through training, territory coverage, best practices, competitive intelligence, and marketing input
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, the Quality System, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage territory finances, expenses, product returns, and inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience (Preferred)
  • A minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience
  • Medical Device Sales in Interventional Cardiology and/or Structural Heart (Strongly Preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and customers
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency to accomplish objectives
  • Highly developed business acumen and experience targeting and prioritizing key customer accounts
  • Ability to establish personal credibility in the targeted territory and deliver messages to clinical staff, administrators, and physicians while overcoming obstacles
  • Emotional Intelligence to manage schedules and clinical resources effectively and efficiently
  • Previous medical device sales experience, preferably calling on Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, and administrators
  • Strategic thinking and tactical planning with flexibility, innovativeness, and resourcefulness
  • Ability to stand for long hours and wear heavy cath lab protective clothing
  • Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% in the defined territory
  • Ability to work around exposure to blood
