About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the territory for the existing customer base
  • Increase product usage and expand the customer base through clinical education and new-user training
  • Ensure customers can independently, safely and efficiently operate Haemonetics equipment, software, and related disposables
  • Train new and existing customers on assigned products and clinical applications
  • Provide onsite support across laboratory, critical care, and operating-room settings
  • Provide clinical expertise to establish products as standard of care within accounts
  • Expand product applications and achieve assigned annual sales AOP
  • Optimize TEG assays, software versions, Cell Saver device fleets, and disposable usage
  • Develop clinician and decision-maker relationships through education, grand rounds, case support, calls, and market events
  • Visit hospital accounts, identify and train clinical champions, and establish key relationships
  • Provide onsite go-live support, including after-hours support
  • Investigate and resolve technical, operational, and clinical customer concerns with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain CRM records and customer history
  • Support VAD/ECMO, trauma, cardiovascular, high-risk obstetrics, liver transplant, vascular, and critical-care clinicians
  • Tailor product training materials to customer needs
  • Understand competitors and convert existing-account business to Haemonetics
  • Collaborate with the Territory Sales Manager on key-account expansion, forecasting, and business planning
  • Provide regional and national tradeshow support
  • Drive demand for device, software, and add-on upgrades
  • Support laboratory installation, validation, verification, training, competency, SOP, IQCP, logistics, and ordering processes
  • Prospect and develop multilevel relationships, including C-level relationships
  • Participate in product development, market needs, quality investigations, launches, and feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Arts, Science or Medical Technology (required)
  • 3+ years of industry or clinically related experience, preferably in complex medical devices and/or critical care environment
  • ICU and cardiology experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated written communication skills
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to convince and proven experience in driving product adoption
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clinicians at a high level
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of hemostasis management
  • Strong technical/clinical aptitude to understand and train customers and users on products
  • Frequent domestic travel: 50–75%
