About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own retention, renewals, and expansion targets for Halter’s existing regional revenue
  • Ensure farmers extract full value from Halter and understand its impact on their farming businesses
  • Renew customer agreements and expand existing customer revenue
  • Support onboarding, training, and implementation of the Halter system on customers’ farms
  • Build genuine relationships with farmers, their teams, and families
  • Partner with customers to establish business goals, timelines, priorities, and success metrics
  • Provide prompt communication and support for technical and operational challenges
  • Represent Halter, lead local discussion groups, and build community networks
  • Act as the customer voice and connect farmers’ feedback with product teams
  • Provide technical and practical farmer-perspective advice on reproduction, pasture, and agronomy
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and model Halter’s Operating Principles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of experience in relationship management/account management roles
  • Experience in dairy farming or within the agriculture sector
  • Deep passion for helping farmers succeed
  • Strong business acumen
  • Positive attitude and collaborative team player who excels at overcoming challenges
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment with a high degree of autonomy
  • Hunger for success and personal growth
  • Eagerness to evolve alongside a world-class team
  • Frequent travel is required
  • Must be based anywhere in the Southland region
