About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow Halter’s enterprise dairy and beef customers across Southland and the South Island
  • Manage a portfolio of large corporate dairy operations from phase-one rollout through full-scale integration with Halter technology
  • Ensure enterprise customers realise full value from their investment and improve execution, retention, expansion, and long-term growth
  • Build trusted relationships with farm teams, operational teams, executive stakeholders, rural professionals, consultants, and industry influencers
  • Identify strategic pain points and tailor solutions with the Enterprise Sales Manager
  • Support expansion and renewal conversations
  • Co-create account plans, drive territory expansion, and identify new revenue streams
  • Collaborate with product, support, and sales teams on product feedback, training, and rollout strategy
  • Contribute to revenue forecasting, account performance tracking, and strategic planning
  • Help develop scalable account-management strategies and playbooks as Halter grows globally
  • Travel frequently within the South Island to meet customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience managing large, complex enterprise accounts and driving long-term growth
  • Dairy systems knowledge and real experience in dairy and beef production systems
  • Commercial acumen and strong commercial instincts
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with executive, operational, farm, and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to identify opportunities, expand accounts, and deliver results
  • Customer-centric, farmer-first approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-changing environment
  • Willingness to travel regularly with expected travel up to 50% of the time
  • X-factor communication skills and ability to drive change and communicate value
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the relevant country
