About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee upkeep and repair of Halter’s on-farm infrastructure
- Diagnose hardware issues and quickly communicate findings to the appropriate team
- Support farm deployments, troubleshoot issues, and assist with installations
- Provide field insights to product and engineering teams
- Participate in the global on-call roster for tower-related incidents
- Collect, interpret, and analyse hardware data to optimise processes and operational efficiency
- Identify issues proactively
- Help build and manage a maintenance system tailored to the Australian market
- Collaborate across Halter’s teams to drive strong customer outcomes
- Travel to farms across Australia approximately 3–4 days per week, including some nights away from home
- Take on other duties needed to support Halter’s success in Australia
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practical experience with tools, electrical work, construction, networking, or equipment fitting is a must
- Proactive, ownership-oriented approach and ability to figure things out on the go
- Ability to translate field observations into clear, actionable feedback for remote product and engineering teams
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to work with people across different locations and time zones
- Comfortable working in an early-stage market-entry environment with ambiguity
- Commitment to delivering excellent service and maintaining infrastructure
- Willingness to travel regularly and sometimes spontaneously across the region
- Australian work eligibility or a valid Australian work permit
- Full, clean driver's licence
