About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive business growth and customer success within the designated territory
  • Execute sales strategies and meet ambitious growth targets
  • Act as Halter’s on-the-ground representative
  • Source new leads through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound queries, and other channels
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to close
  • Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate customer contracts
  • Maintain close customer relationships after the sale
  • Provide customer support and address product-related challenges
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and deployment
  • Own the end-to-end customer experience during onboarding and deployment
  • Build relationships with regional agricultural groups across the beef industry
  • Gather customer feedback and share field insights with Support, Product, and R&D teams
  • Escalate and resolve customer issues in partnership with the Support Team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships
  • Experience with post-sales value building and upselling to grow partnerships
  • Beef industry experience, or deep passion for and willingness to rapidly learn farm operations
  • Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking and balancing sales with customer success
  • Resourcefulness and quick-thinking problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the territory
  • Ability to work in North Western Victoria
  • Legal work authorisation to work in the relevant country
