About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work within the scope of professional nursing practice
- Contribute as a team member and promote the HammondCare mission and mission in action
- Provide safe, effective and quality patient care
- Rotate through Rehab, Palliative Care and Older Peoples Mental Health across the Macquarie Park, Neringah and Braeside sites
- Complete a 12-month full-time role starting in March 2027
Requirements
What you’ll need- Eligibility to register with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and clinical problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team
- Demonstrated understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the role
- Demonstrated understanding of the role in applying continuous improvement to quality and safety
- Demonstrated understanding of the HammondCare Mission in Action, purpose and values
- Updated resume and cover note stating availability to work across all three sites
- Short-listed applicants must consent to a criminal record check, immunisation staff screening and vaccination compliance checks
