About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a passionate and dedicated team of staff to deliver HammondCare’s model of care through its Social Club service across Redcliffe, Carindale and Narangba
Onboard, assess and provide ongoing support to clients accessing Social Club programs
Drive service growth and increase client participation
Ensure high-quality outcomes for all participants
Aid in recruiting and leading staff
Manage budgets, ensure quality and oversee all aspects of care provision at the Social Club
Provide strong leadership, direction and operational oversight
Operate the Social Club in line with the CHSP Operational Manual
Operate the club in line with the Aged Care Act and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
Achieve targeted outputs for the Social Club
Provide staff and volunteers with support and advice on daily operational care issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Certificate IV in Aged Care or other relevant qualification.
Experience in Community Aged Care management
Experience running a CHSP Social Club
Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem solve with limited supervision.
Strong organisational abilities, including effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy work environment
Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance
Strong conflict resolution skills
Experience managing a team of skilled professionals
A current driver’s licence and safe driving record
Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services
Strong administrative and computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Empathy and patience
