Partner with assigned business segments to provide actionable, decision-relevant business insights based on customer, market, competitive, industry, and behavioral trends
Provide analytical support and business-level guidance for enterprise business intelligence reporting
Provide expert knowledge of Informational Delivery Platform tools, methods, and best practices
Recommend and implement process improvements
Support information analytics and reporting needs delivered electronically or in paper-based formats
Develop deployment strategies using efficient reporting and information retrieval/distribution processes
Participate as a subject-matter expert in informational projects focused on solving business issues
Design solutions meeting customer, operational, and reporting requirements using informational delivery strategies and platform technologies
Consult with business leadership and stakeholders to identify strategic issues and analytical requirements
Translate strategic plans, goals, and business issues into an Informational Delivery direction
Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic marketing plans
Develop strategic recommendations using customer, market, competitive, financial, product trend, and industry analyses
Collaborate with Business Intelligence Analysts to design aligned reporting, analyses, and lists
Present recommendations, analysis, reporting, and research findings to internal audiences
Establish and follow business processes supporting privacy rules, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and annual audit reviews
Research trends and implications in loan and deposit portfolios
Design business rules and strategy for the Client and Relationship Management hub
Support reporting needs and define comprehensive information packages with controllers and senior executives
Provide information and analysis for strategic planning and decision-making
Validate business needs in the business intelligence development and release cycle
Identify and document data gaps with the data management team and assist with validation
Perform other duties and special projects assigned by Senior Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing or related field required; master’s degree preferred
Experience in bank reporting and profitability systems
At least 7 years of experience with detailed knowledge of the banking / financial services industry
Advanced understanding of banking, financial services, and/or investment industry
Advanced understanding of financial reporting and analytics
Advanced understanding of reporting tools and platforms
Strong analytical and database skills
Ability to work independently, problem solve and meet deadlines
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Ability to understand complex financial statistics and reports
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 25 pounds if required to perform essential job functions
Compliance with applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry-related laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act
