About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, manage, and retain client relationships through proactive outreach, needs assessments, and consultative sales conversations
- Advise clients and match financial products and services to their goals
- Educate clients on self-service and digital banking solutions, including mobile, online, ATMs, and emerging technologies
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other routine financial center transactions
- Manage lobby activity by greeting and directing clients, monitoring risk, and ensuring a positive client experience
- Refer clients to mortgage, business banking, and investment partners
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve assigned goals and contribute to branch growth
- Uphold risk management, compliance, and security standards
- Participate in community outreach and business development activities
- Monitor surroundings, client behavior, and potential risk indicators
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of sales, client service, or retail experience required; prior banking experience preferred
- Will also consider a Bachelor’s degree plus cash handling and customer service experience in retail/financial services
- Demonstrated ability to build and expand client relationships
- Proficiency navigating multiple banking systems and digital tools
- NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 required
- Successful background check required
- Ability to work Financial Center hours, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 50 pounds if required, subject to accommodation
