About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Architect end-to-end GTM workflows and the GTM data model from lead to quote to renewal to expansion
  • Improve systems so AEs, AMs, and CSMs spend less time fighting systems
  • Ensure forecast and renewal reporting remain reliable as products and segments expand
  • Connect Salesforce, Gainsight, Nooks, and Clay into one system
  • Bring engagement, enrichment, and customer health signals into Salesforce
  • Improve deal inspection and renewal-risk visibility with less manual representative input
  • Evaluate emerging GTM and AI tools
  • Onboard new vendors and retire tools that no longer provide value
  • Ship new builds and improvements
  • Manage internal teams and external Salesforce consultants
  • Direct external consultants toward heavier build work
  • Set GTM systems architecture direction anticipating AI-driven go-to-market changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years in Salesforce, GTM systems or RevOps systems roles, ideally at an architect level
  • Strong hands-on Salesforce skills: Flows, validation rules, approvals and disciplined release practices
  • Architect-level design of workflows across pipeline, quoting/CPQ, renewals and expansion
  • Sound data model and governance decisions
  • Integration experience beyond Salesforce, such as sales engagement, customer success and data enrichment tools
  • Track record of evaluating new software and bringing on vendors
  • Point of view on where the systems field is going and the impact of AI
  • Track record of building systems that Sales and CS adopt
  • Ability to partner with leaders across the business to scope, ideate, and launch improvements
  • Ability to weigh build vs. buy vs. outsource tradeoffs
  • Experience directing external consultants or builders
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical partners
  • Ability to navigate multiple competing priorities and internal stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with Gainsight, Nooks, Clay or comparable tools is extra credit
  • Experience leading systems migrations via acquisitions or managing multiple Salesforce instances is extra credit
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for Handshake
  • Must work from the local office 3 days/week
