About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assemble products using instructions, bills of materials and engineering drawings
  • Interpret technical documents, including diagrams, schematics, and verbal or written instructions
  • Electronically record labor for each job
  • Ensure quality standards are met
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components
  • Identify defective items and handle them according to established procedures
  • Resolve assembly problems by communicating with peers or supervisors
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment according to company standards
  • Use hand tools, power tools, custom fixtures, drill presses, arbor presses, ovens, heat guns, and other light-duty equipment
  • May perform painting, laser etching, sewing, and/or plastic thermoforming

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Proven experience in assembly
  • Good understanding of quality control principles
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Good math/analytical skills with ability to use tools/take measurements
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Good communications skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
