About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform detailed analysis of financial information, process documentation, and problem solving
Make recommendations for improvements in reporting and processes
Prepare and test reports, data queries, and financial system changes
Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Execute SOX controls and prepare audit requests for the Revenue Accounting team
Lead department projects to build, enhance, or improve efficiency in financial reporting of Revenue and A/R
Serve as the subject matter expert on Revenue and A/R systems and underlying data
Collaborate with IT Systems Support to ensure downstream systems function properly and revenue-related data flows are accurate and complete
Prepare and analyze product-level revenue reporting
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting capabilities
Identify and resolve variances related to financial systems and the general ledger
Prepare ad-hoc reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
5 years of related experience
Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
Experience in Oracle Cloud Systems or other large ERP
Excel: Intermediate to advanced user
Experience working with large sets of data
Experience with Power BI, SQL
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
