About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs through technology, data, and process optimization
- Lead evaluation and implementation of marketing technologies
- Oversee marketing automation and CRM integrations
- Manage lead processes to improve conversion and pipeline performance
- Execute email campaigns and develop and maintain marketing performance reporting
- Deliver insights that inform business decisions
- Collaborate with Demand Generation, Sales Rev Ops, and CRM teams across the customer journey
- Provide strategic direction, project management support, coaching, and professional development to the marketing operations team
- Report to the Chief Marketing Officer
- Own end-to-end HubSpot marketing automation processes and workflows
- Oversee, implement, analyze, and optimize automated marketing programs
- Develop audience segmentation strategies and customer-targeted messaging
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation and recommend campaign improvements
- Monitor and optimize lead scoring and lead nurturing programs
- Project manage and execute email marketing campaigns, including workflows, tests, sends, database maintenance, copywriting, and data analysis
- Protect email service provider reputation and ensure deliverability and compliance
- Improve contact database health, preference and subscription management, and compliance
- Maintain and implement marketing technology capabilities across multiple platforms
- Integrate platforms, manage updates, troubleshoot, and maintain data hygiene and integrity
- Maintain HubSpot data and Salesforce Inclusion List
- Track platform performance against KPIs and improve conversion paths and funnel efficiencies
- Develop marketing technology strategy and evaluate new platforms and automation options
- Assess the marketing technology portfolio and optimize tasks, including through AI
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, service-level agreements, budget planning, and contractors
- Liaise with Applications and Salesforce development teams and oversee requirements, testing, and deployment
- Generate regular KPI reporting on inbound leads, lead generation and paid efforts, customer lifecycle, attribution, content marketing, and email marketing
- Create and maintain reporting dashboards and develop UTM campaign strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in marketing, business, computer science, or related fields
- 6-9 years of experience in marketing technology, operations, or automation with hands-on experience installing and managing marketing platforms
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and analytical, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, tactics and best practices and ability to connect marketing practice with data flows
- Collaborative leadership and ability to lead, develop, and coach a high performing team
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to balance strategic and operational execution with team oversight
- Self-starter with a hands-on, ownership mindset and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing external contractors and vendors
- Experience implementing and managing marketing technology platforms
- Marketing automation platforms, with HubSpot preferred and administrative experience
- ABM platforms, with 6Sense preferred
- Online chat and AI SDR programs, with Qualified preferred
- CRM and CMS integration, with Salesforce preferred
- Will need to primarily work EST hours
