About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement GA4 and GTM measurement setups, including event architecture, custom dimensions and metrics, and server-side tagging
  • Write dataLayer specifications, QA them against live containers, and collaborate with developers on implementation
  • Diagnose tracking issues from broken tags and misfiring triggers through downstream reporting gaps
  • Build data pipelines and warehousing strategies using BigQuery or equivalent platforms, including GA4 exports and behavioral-data joins
  • Design measurement architecture that scales across multiple clients and properties
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, and/or Power BI
  • Translate raw data into plain-English insights and actionable client recommendations
  • Strategize and run CRO programs, including hypotheses, A/B and multivariate tests, statistical analysis, and revenue or lead-goal evaluation
  • Analyze web and behavioral data in GA4, Crazy Egg, Microsoft Clarity, and similar tools to identify user drop-off patterns
  • Support new business through proposal drafting, pitches, and analytics scoping
  • Work across multiple client accounts with paid media, SEO, design, and development teams
  • Lead client measurement conversations and present findings to marketing directors, VPs, and founders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Deep GA4 and GTM implementation experience, including event architecture, custom dimensions and metrics, server-side tagging, and debugging with Tag Assistant and DevTools
  • Fluency with dataLayer design and specification
  • Comfort in code, including JavaScript for GTM and SQL for querying and transformation
  • Experience building data pipelines and warehousing strategies with BigQuery or an equivalent platform
  • Experience building dashboards in Looker Studio, Tableau, and/or Power BI that drive decisions
  • Experience running CRO programs with A/B and multivariate testing tools
  • Professional fluency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to explain technical tracking issues to clients in plain language and write clear client-facing documentation
  • Five or more years in an agency or consultancy personally owning client or stakeholder relationships, running calls, and presenting analysis
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent accounts
