About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own APIs, webhooks, MCP servers, and integrations end to end
- Decide what gets built, for whom, and in what order
- Bring Harmonic's AI Risk and Usage Intelligence into customers' existing tools and workflows
- Enable customers to set controls and policies without leaving their existing workflows
- Identify and prioritize valuable integrations and partner opportunities
- Collaborate with commercial and partnerships teams
- Hold technical discussions with engineers, partners, and customers about API design, authentication, and integration patterns
- Engage with customers and prospects, including sales calls and proof-of-value engagements
- Present effectively to CISOs, CIOs, and technical teams
- Test APIs and webhook flows, review partner documentation, and prototype ideas
- Produce clear, technically sound discovery work, specifications, and written product thinking
- Form and defend a view of the ecosystem and future platform integrations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Meaningful product work owned end to end and delivered to customers
- Ability to evaluate product outcomes and explain how success was measured
- Strong writing, discovery, prioritisation, and quality standards
- Comfortable designing and critiquing APIs
- Understanding of webhooks, authentication, and data flows
- Ability to work through technical detail with engineers
- Understanding of developer users and their expectations
- Familiarity with emerging protocols such as MCP and A2A
- Ability to work effectively in a startup with shifting priorities and incomplete information
- Experience alongside business development or partnerships teams (nice to have)
- B2B experience, particularly with large enterprises (nice to have)
- Background in security or data protection (nice to have)
- Genuine interest in AI trends and developments (nice to have)
- UK work authorization without requiring employer visa sponsorship
