Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own customer cases end-to-end, including triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution across Kubernetes, ECS, Docker, and AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Participate in occasional customer build engagements, approximately 20–30% of the time, shadowing and co-building alongside a senior engineer
  • Contribute to customer-facing tooling and small product fixes with Product and Engineering
  • Turn casework patterns into reusable diagnostics, dashboards, and bug fixes
  • Lead or actively participate in customer calls and screen shares
  • Build internal scripts and diagnostic tools to accelerate casework
  • Develop exposure to AI/LLM-powered internal tooling
  • Create runbooks, playbooks, and reusable templates for the broader team
  • Progress toward independently leading customer build engagements
  • Gain exposure to observability tooling, Infrastructure-as-Code, AI agents/MCP, and secrets management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform role, or equivalent depth from internships, personal projects, or open-source work
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ECS, and Docker
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Solid grasp of CI/CD concepts and Linux/networking fundamentals
  • Scripting ability in Python, Node.js, Bash, or similar
  • Coding experience through coursework, projects, or professional work sufficient to read source code and make small, guided changes
  • Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable driving customer calls and writing findings for engineers and managers
  • Ability to learn quickly and work hands-on in unfamiliar systems
