About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Sales Director, Head of Sales and Senior Key Account Manager across both Children’s Divisions, HCCB and Farshore
  • Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day queries, including information checks, cover requests, internal PDFs, manuscripts and sales information
  • Send cost requests to Production and collate, process and track confirmed orders
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service
  • Liaise between Marketing & Publicity and customers to help deliver successful global campaigns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Interest in children’s publishing and enthusiasm for authors, illustrators and brands
  • Ideally, some junior-level account management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with data, pricing, orders and sales materials
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track files and data, and meet tight deadlines
  • Confidence learning and using new systems and processes, including Microsoft Office and internal sales/production systems
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, able to use initiative, anticipate issues and resolve problems quickly
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Calm, reliable and able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
