About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance AI components for mapping recommendations, consistency checks, and log analysis
Transition AI automation components into production use
Implement and maintain transformation and testing routines for model-driven migration
Conduct data analyses and document migration logic
Provide occasional technical support for complex customer inquiries concerning data quality or exceptional cases
Take responsibility for technical consistency checks and traceable test records
Work closely with the migration team, R&D department, and other stakeholders
Monitor new models, frameworks, and automation patterns and introduce relevant developments to the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid software development experience, ideally with Python
Experience in data processing and ETL processes
Practical project experience with AI technologies such as LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, or comparable approaches
Ability to make technically sound architectural decisions and explain the rationale behind them clearly
Experience with testing, automation, and consistency checks in data pipelines
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Degree in computer science, business information systems, data science, or a comparable background
Fluent German (at least B2 level)
English language skills are desirable
Willingness to travel within the DACH region as required by projects
Knowledge of the energy and/or water utilities sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite
Experience with ERP systems such as kVASy® is an advantage but not a prerequisite
