About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the integration of security into software development, CI/CD, and cloud operations
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection, security scanning, build, test, and deployment processes
  • Architect, manage, harden, and ensure compliance of scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure
  • Implement and manage container security and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise secrets management solutions
  • Enforce least-privilege access through IAM policies and Zero Trust architecture
  • Establish continuous vulnerability assessment processes and collaborate on vulnerability triage and remediation
  • Build automated threat monitoring, anomaly detection, audit logging, and incident response capabilities
  • Stay current with DevSecOps, cloud security, vulnerability management trends, standards, and best practices
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship on secure coding, SDLC, IaC security, and infrastructure practices
  • Lead cross-functional alignment among engineering, security, and operations teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, related field, or relevant equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Engineering with a strong security focus
  • Extensive experience integrating automated security gates into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Expertise in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
  • Expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud security tooling (e.g., IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty)
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code tools
  • Excellent communication, incident handling, and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets detection
  • Experience with enterprise secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager
  • Knowledge of IAM policies and Zero Trust architecture
  • Experience with continuous vulnerability assessment and remediation
  • Experience with cloud instances, container registries, and software dependencies
  • Experience with threat monitoring, anomaly detection, audit logging, and incident response automation
