About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support delivery of the Home Claims strategy to maximise commercial outcomes
- Drive data-led performance improvement opportunities across the Hastings Direct matrix and external suppliers
- Prioritise opportunities, secure resources and deliver outcomes
- Manage contractual relationships with external suppliers
- Manage risk and business continuity within the business area
- Develop appropriate strategies to mitigate threats
- Own commercial performance of a key component of Home Claims
- Identify trading performance improvement opportunities
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver commercial and trading strategy
- Participate in recruiter screening and two-stage interview process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience of delivering commercial initiatives across a busy Home Claims function
- Strong commercial aptitude combined with analytical capability
- Ability to translate complex data and concepts into a logical and structured fashion
- Ability to articulate concepts clearly and effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Unable to offer sponsorship for this role
- Thorough referencing process includes credit and criminal record checks
