About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure prioritisation, user stories and delivery of change are completed
- Contribute as a key component of the Claims Transformation agenda
- Work closely with the Claims Transformation Director, Delivery/Transformation Leads and project teams
- Develop and maintain communication with stakeholders and business owners
- Gather business requirements effectively and ensure they are planned and understood
- Document and communicate requirements according to approved methodology
- Distribute, review, discuss, modify and obtain approval for requirements and design documents
- Create and write acceptance criteria for user stories
- Review, update and sign off test scripts for in-track and regression testing
- Ensure full coverage of user stories
- Complete full OAT testing and documentation, providing evidence for deployment decisions
- Help prioritise the product backlog based on business, customer, colleague and commercial priorities
- Plan sprints, communicate outcomes and progress matters to product and business owners
- Build expert knowledge of the Guidewire System within the change portfolio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience developing and maintaining stakeholder and business-owner communications
- Experience gathering, documenting, communicating, reviewing, modifying and obtaining approval for business requirements and design documents
- Experience creating acceptance criteria for user stories
- Experience reviewing, updating and signing off test scripts for in-track and regression testing
- Experience completing full OAT testing and documentation
- Experience prioritising product backlogs and planning sprints
- Expert knowledge of working with Guidewire System within a change portfolio
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Experience of software and systems process design, documentation, development and maintenance
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of the Guidewire core platform
- Ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders and drill down into stakeholder requirements
