About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead business analysis and design activity across the assigned domain from discovery and requirements through delivery and business readiness
- Shape, analyse and document complex requirements
- Facilitate workshops
- Translate user and business needs into clear specifications and process designs
- Lead, coach and mentor Senior Business Analysts, Business Analysts and Junior Business Analysts
- Build capability across the wider BA community
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders, technology teams and third parties
- Provide trusted advice and constructive challenge
- Provide visibility of risks, dependencies and progress
- Champion BA standards, methodologies and best practice
- Drive consistency, quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies and governance requirements
- Ensure change delivers appropriate outcomes for customers and the wider organisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience leading business analysis across complex projects, programmes or domains
- Strong knowledge of requirements elicitation, process modelling and data analysis
- Strong experience leading, coaching and developing Business Analysts at different levels
- Experience building capability and supporting high-quality delivery
- Experience working with senior leaders, technical teams and third parties
- Ability to influence, challenge and build trusted relationships
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex information into clear messages for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and end-to-end impact analysis
- Ability to use data and insight to inform decisions and develop sustainable solutions
- Experience working within Agile environments and methodologies such as BDD, Scaled Agile or Scrum
- Ability to manage requirements and support delivery across multiple priorities
- Applicants must be located within a 90-minute commuting distance of the Bexhill or Leicester offices
- Applicants must be able to attend the office at least once per week and quarterly departmental events
- Must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship
