About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Third Party Property Damage team
  • Ensure claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with company and regulatory standards
  • Keep customer outcomes at the heart of claims handling
  • Work closely with the Claims Operations Manager
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to colleagues
  • Set and manage annual and monthly objectives
  • Conduct regular 1:1s to review performance, recognise success, identify development opportunities, and provide support
  • Ensure Performance Development Reviews are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
  • Manage employee relations and HR matters in line with company policies, procedures, and best practice
  • Drive colleague development through tailored monthly coaching plans, regular feedback, and engaging team meetings
  • Promote collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in people leadership
  • Strong understanding of delivering a market-leading customer experience and creating a customer-focused culture within a team
  • Experience in stakeholder management and coaching
  • Ability to build effective relationships and develop high-performing teams
  • Proven experience driving results and meeting or exceeding targets
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to continuous self-development and supporting the growth of others
  • Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Unable to offer sponsorship for this role
