About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end design for core product areas from discovery and user flows through production-ready specifications and QA
Translate complex AI-powered capabilities into intuitive interfaces for non-technical MSP and SMB users
Prototype with Claude or other tools, then create production-ready developer specifications in Figma
Contribute to and scale the design system with reusable components
Drive user research with MSP and SMB customers, synthesize findings, and incorporate user needs
Lead and contribute to weekly design critiques
Partner with engineering and product on prioritization, scoping, and delivery
QA designs to ensure correct implementation
Evaluate evolving AI interaction patterns for agentic UX, conversational interfaces, and AI-assisted workflows
Help define design processes, tooling, and team rituals as the team scales

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of product or UX design experience
Portfolio demonstrating strong craft, systems thinking, and shipped work across complex or technical products
Experience designing data-dense, workflow-driven, or AI-powered products
Fluency in Figma, including component libraries, auto layout, and prototyping
Comfort working with Claude and v0
Experience conducting and synthesizing user research
Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineers and product managers
Clear, confident communication and ability to present and defend design decisions
Comfort in high-growth startup environments with frequent releases and shifting priorities
Preferred: hands-on experience designing AI-powered products, AI tools or low-code environments, design systems, design tokens, and translating Figma variables into code-level tokens
