About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the portfolio-wide commercial strategy across Revenue Management, Pricing, Distribution, Group Sales, Reservations, and Commercial Analytics
- Translate company goals into property-level commercial strategies, targets, and action plans
- Lead commercial forecasting and performance reviews with Finance and property leadership
- Establish commercial operating rhythms, performance expectations, and accountability structures
- Set Revenue Management strategy for pricing, forecasting, inventory, segmentation, demand, and need-period strategies
- Provide strategic direction and accountability to Revenue Management, Group Sales, and Reservations leaders
- Optimize channel mix, distribution strategy, and pricing to improve occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share, and profitability
- Oversee commercial technology and vendor relationships
- Monitor group pipeline, sales performance, reservation trends, and conversion
- Lead development of forecasting, reporting, commercial scorecards, and actionable insights
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Marketing & Growth, Membership, Product & Digital, and property leadership
- Report to the CEO and build and lead the commercial organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of progressive hospitality commercial experience
- Significant leadership across Revenue Management, pricing, distribution, sales, and broader commercial strategy
- Multi-property hotel leadership experience
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue performance, profitability, and market share
- Deep understanding of hotel economics, forecasting, pricing, distribution, sales, and commercial performance
- Ability to lead leaders, develop talent, build high-performing teams, and establish clear accountability
- Strong analytical and financial judgment
- Experience with hospitality commercial technology, including revenue management, PMS, CRM, distribution, and sales systems
- Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, finance, marketing, or a related field preferred
- Willingness to travel regularly across the Gravity Haus portfolio and to industry events, owner meetings, and priority markets
