About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver HCF's Line 2 Risk Assurance program
- Provide independent assurance that technology, data and AI risks are identified, managed and controlled across the organisation
- Lead assurance reviews across technology, data and AI risk domains
- Assess control effectiveness, governance arrangements and compliance with regulatory obligations
- Provide practical, risk-based recommendations and trusted stakeholder engagement
- Provide independent challenge while supporting stronger risk outcomes across the business
- Contribute to the development of assurance frameworks, methodologies and practices
- Support HCF's regulatory obligations
- Influence emerging approaches to technology, data and AI risk assurance within a complex and highly regulated environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated expertise across technology, data and AI risk management within a regulated environment
- Experience in risk assurance, controls assurance, internal audit or a related risk discipline
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks, governance processes and control assessment methodologies
- Experience leading assurance reviews and providing independent risk insights and recommendations
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex findings into practical business outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leaders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deliver clear and meaningful assurance reporting
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional certifications in risk, audit, technology or a related discipline
