About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and continuously improve policies, standards, procedures and tools supporting risk management across HCF
  • Work with business leaders, specialist risk teams and framework owners to keep risk management expectations clear, consistent and aligned with regulatory requirements and HCF's strategic goals
  • Support review and enhancement of Risk Framework artefacts
  • Coordinate stakeholder consultation and help embed framework changes across the business
  • Improve how risk information is captured, managed and reported
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to simplify processes, improve usability and strengthen risk management capability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in risk management, governance, compliance or a related discipline, preferably within financial services or another regulated environment
  • Experience supporting or maintaining risk management frameworks, policies, standards or procedures within a regulated environment
  • Solid understanding of enterprise risk management, risk assessments, controls, governance and risk appetite frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build trusted relationships across teams
  • Experience translating regulatory or risk requirements into practical business guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts clearly and practically
  • Continuous improvement mindset and desire to simplify and improve processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Risk Management, Governance or a related field
  • Professional certification or postgraduate study in risk management, governance, compliance, audit or related discipline is desirable
