About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and continuously improve HCF's enterprise risk management framework
- Ensure policies, standards and risk practices remain practical, fit for purpose and aligned to strategy and regulatory obligations
- Work closely with senior leaders and specialist risk teams
- Bring consistency across operational, technology, data, product and pricing risk disciplines
- Clarify and communicate risk management expectations across the organisation
- Strengthen how risk information is captured, reported and used
- Help mature HCF's risk capability and governance practices
- Influence strategically and partner with stakeholders across the business
- Balance strategic thinking with practical outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Risk Management, Governance, Finance or a related field
- Professional certification or postgraduate study in risk management, governance, compliance, audit or related discipline is desirable
- Strong experience in enterprise risk management, risk frameworks, governance or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of regulatory expectations and contemporary risk management practices
- Ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across a complex organisation
- Experience developing, reviewing or enhancing risk frameworks, policies, standards and methodologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Continuous improvement mindset and passion for lifting risk maturity across an organisation
