About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report to the Chief Commercial Officer as part of the Sales team
  • Own all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Drive sales and revenue generation within an assigned territory
  • Secure initial opportunities in non-customer accounts through new logo sales
  • Secure large new department sales within existing large hospital system accounts
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to align customer needs with company capabilities
  • Develop business opportunities in new and existing large accounts to meet and exceed annual quota targets
  • Provide timely CRM updates and fulfill reporting obligations
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with decision-makers at all levels
  • Develop the brand within the assigned territory or region
  • Manage the opportunity funnel and keep CRM data current, actionable, and real-time
  • Analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards
  • Work new business opportunities and leads; identify key buying influences
  • Develop presentations and coordinate meetings between client buying influences and eHealth personnel
  • Lead potential clients through contracting and privacy/security processes
  • Develop win-win solution proposals for clients and the company
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and clean handoffs to Customer Success and Operations
  • Identify market trends and evaluate competition
  • Participate in designated industry organizations and related groups within the territory, state, or region
  • Manage time efficiently and complete projects under deadlines
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated track record of selling clinical solutions to large hospital health systems
  • Five (5) years of applicable business-to-business consultative sales experience, including four (4) years of sales experience with a proven track record of success (top 10%, Presidents Club, etc.)
  • C-level sales experience within hospitals/health care systems and comfort selling to top executives
  • Proficiency in Miller Heiman Strategic Selling is a plus
  • Proficiency with CRM such as Salesforce.com and automated outbound platforms
  • Experience building a growth strategy and plan within a large territory
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
  • Results-driven and action-oriented
  • Desire to outperform competitors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including formal presentation skills in small and large groups
  • Demonstrated capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends and communicate trends to executive leadership and product development
  • Demonstrated ability to align and communicate company solutions to customer challenges, creating a unique value proposition
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal employees
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
