About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support approximately 100 employees with technical questions
  • Administer approximately 120 MacBooks, 40 iPhones, 10 iPads, and Android test devices
  • Manage the entire device lifecycle, from procurement and setup through return and reuse
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and SaaS applications
  • Develop standards for a secure and reliable macOS work environment
  • Help select and implement a future MDM solution
  • Manage network, firewall, Wi-Fi, storage, and backup systems
  • Document systems and processes
  • Automate recurring tasks and further develop existing IT processes
  • Coordinate external service providers in hosting, telecommunications, and tooling
  • Support IT security initiatives and, where required, ISMS and ISO 27001 measures
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team on Linux, Docker, and development environments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in IT support and the administration of workplace and systems environments
  • Knowledge of macOS and iOS, with strong familiarity with the Apple ecosystem
  • Experience with an MDM system such as JAMF or Intune is an advantage
  • Enjoyment of helping people with technical questions
  • Structured, independent, and reliable working style
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and understandably
  • Good understanding of IT security and well-structured access control concepts
  • Interest in improving existing structures and independently establishing new areas of responsibility
  • IT training, a degree in computer science or business informatics, or an equivalent practical qualification
  • Willingness to work from the office three days per week and remotely for the remainder
  • German language skills preferred; good English skills
  • Knowledge of network administration, firewalls, Wi-Fi, switching, routing, or VLANs is an advantage
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure, or SaaS administration is an advantage
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, or storage systems is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of Linux, Docker, Apache, or Node.js is an advantage
  • Familiarity with ISMS or ISO 27001 is an advantage
