About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and improve the platform and its supporting cloud infrastructure
Build reusable and maintainable infrastructure-as-code modules with Terraform
Manage infrastructure and software delivery through Argo CD and GitOps practices
Operate and improve containerized workloads running on Kubernetes
Develop internal tools, integrations, Terraform providers and supporting services
Investigate production issues across infrastructure, applications and databases
Read and debug application code when resolving platform-related incidents
Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, platform performance and operational visibility
Automate recurring processes for the DevOps and software development teams
Strengthen cloud security, reliability and deployment consistency
Support around 20 engineers across five to six product teams
Collaborate closely with developers on infrastructure, deployments and production issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of continuous experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering or a comparable role
Strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, including production troubleshooting
Commercial experience with Azure, AWS or GCP, with Azure being the preferred environment
Practical knowledge of Docker, Terraform and Linux
Experience with GitOps practices and modern infrastructure delivery workflows
Programming or scripting experience and the ability to understand unfamiliar codebases
Ability to troubleshoot application-level, infrastructure and database-related issues
Experience with monitoring, metrics, alerting, logging and cloud security
Professional English and the ability to collaborate with several engineering teams
Experience with Argo CD in production environments (nice to have)
Programming experience with C#, Python or Go (nice to have)
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database structure design and performance troubleshooting (nice to have)
Experience with PostgreSQL, NoSQL or vector databases such as Milvus (nice to have)
Familiarity with Data Lake environments or streaming technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka (nice to have)
Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
Ownership of issues from initial investigation through permanent resolution
Structured thinking across infrastructure, application and data layers
Clear communication with DevOps colleagues, developers and engineering stakeholders
Curiosity and confidence when working with unfamiliar systems or code
