About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for Workday HCM
  • Assist functional subject matter experts with data integrity, system-change testing, requirements gathering, report writing, and data-flow analysis
  • Support and manage Workday semi-annual updates, testing, and assigned technical projects
  • Provide HCM system support
  • Administer Workday applications including HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Advanced Compensation, and Integrations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business processes, needs, and requirements into system configurations and workflows
  • Perform ongoing system maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements
  • Configure and test new features, functionalities, and integrations
  • Resolve end-user system concerns and troubleshoot issues
  • Create instructional resources about Workday functionality and enhancements
  • Monitor and audit the Workday environment to uphold data integrity
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards
  • Monitor Workday updates, releases, and industry trends for regulatory compliance and industry best practices
  • Implement and enforce security policies, role-based access controls, and data privacy standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS; Workday experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Proven experience with reporting and analytics
  • Experience and knowledge of HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Time & Absence, and Benefits
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, typically in a cubicle environment
  • Frequent use of computers, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, telephone, copier, and printer
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, by telephone, email, or video conferencing
  • Visual and auditory acuity to perform job duties effectively
  • Hand dexterity and fine motor skills to operate a keyboard and mouse
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms occasionally
  • For hybrid roles, ability to commute to an office setting as required
