About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build fast, responsive websites optimized for a frictionless user experience in marketing and sales
- Work with the product owner and software engineering manager to develop and enhance websites according to an agreed roadmap using Agile SDLC
- Incorporate input from marketing, UX, SEO, and optimization teams to A/B test and continuously evolve consumer-facing websites
- Participate in an Agile Scrum team and deliver sprint objectives
- Monitor application performance, focusing on uptime and fast response times
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of hands-on software development experience
- Expertise building consumer-facing websites using JavaScript-based frameworks such as ReactJS and associated libraries such as Redux and Next.JS; similar technologies including AngularJS and Vue will be considered
- Proven ability to build web applications and content-rich sites using a CMS
- Proficiency in OOP using .NET or Java, CSS, HTML5, cloud technologies, CI/CD, MVC, and RDBMS
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, typically in a cubicle environment
- Frequent use of computers, dual monitors, keyboard, mouse, telephone, copier, and printer
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, by telephone, email, or video conferencing
- Visual and auditory acuity to perform job duties effectively
- Hand dexterity and fine motor skills to operate a keyboard and mouse efficiently
