About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and strengthen client relationships and identify partnership expansion opportunities
- Lead medium- to large-scale healthcare projects, typically ranging from $500,000 to $750,000 in fees
- Manage the full project lifecycle from proposal and scope development through delivery and closeout
- Oversee project execution, profitability, resource allocation, cost control, quality, schedule, budget, cash flow, and risk
- Lead project costing and bid/proposal preparation
- Ensure deliverables meet HEAPY standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design engineering, commissioning, energy optimization, sustainability, ICT, and specialized services
- Establish communication networks among clients, HEAPY, architects, and construction managers
- Collaborate with practice and project leaders to form project teams and assign responsibilities
- Conduct project progress reviews and resolve delays, cost overruns, resource, equipment, materials, and quality issues
- Maintain client communication, obtain approvals, and participate in client feedback processes
- Identify client service needs, develop proposals, pursue sales, and cross-sell opportunities
- Report client management activities and opportunities in the CRM system
- Develop strategic accounts and execute capture strategies from early positioning through proposal and award
- Propose solutions for project risks and scope or fee management issues
- Represent HEAPY culture and maintain colleague morale
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year degree or equivalent years of project management experience in the Built Environment
- At least 8–10 years of experience in design or process engineering, consulting engineering or A/E, plant operations or start-up, commissioning, and/or energy engineering, and/or field construction, or equivalent working knowledge/experience
- Professional registration is preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from the project
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and access all areas of job sites
- Ability to move, transport, or position items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to apply established protocols, practices, and safety guidelines
- Ability to gather, organize, and evaluate project and calculation information
- Ability to perform local travel (<30%) and distant travel as needed (<15%)
