About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape and evolve digital experiences for A+E, HISTORY, and other editorial sites
- Launch new features and manage ongoing enhancements
- Partner with Editorial, UX/UI, Engineering, Legal, and other stakeholders to translate business and audience needs into product and technical requirements
- Define workflows, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other requirements
- Prioritize initiatives and enhancements based on audience impact, business goals, technical considerations, dependencies, and resources
- Guide features and enhancements through the product development lifecycle
- Manage and continuously improve CMS platforms supporting editorial sites
- Evaluate editorial processes and implement technology or workflow improvements
- Oversee privacy and consent-management initiatives across digital experiences
- Support testing and validation of new features
- Monitor launched experiences, stakeholder feedback, and data to identify optimization opportunities
- Identify opportunities related to emerging technologies, audience behaviors, privacy trends, and digital publishing capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least four years of product management and/or business analysis experience supporting digital products
- Experience supporting full-stack websites and applications
- Foundational understanding of content management systems, HTML, CSS, and modern digital technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex or ambiguous needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across creative, editorial, business, design, legal, and technical teams
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to nontechnical audiences and business or audience needs to technical teams
- Ability to balance immediate business needs with longer-term product and platform considerations
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile product development environment
- Strong technical, creative, and strategic acumen
- Familiarity with visual design and information architecture concepts
- BA/BS in related field is preferred
