About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and support network services and solutions for consulting clients
- Mentor and share skills with others
- Build customer-focused relationships to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements for optimal solutions
- Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures
- Execute large projects with Project Managers and Practice Leads on time and on budget
- Provide leadership and communicate project needs to the Project Management Team
- Lead Engineers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Serve as Lead Engineer on projects involving multiple technologies
- Provide daily project updates on timelines, hours, resources, and concerns when applicable
- Coordinate collaboration between business units to provide a world-class customer experience
- Participate in team and customer meetings
- Contribute to product selection, research, configuration standards, and best practices
- Educate sales teams on products and services
- Work across regional and virtual practices
- Stay current on new products and solutions
- Grow technical expertise, project experience, leadership, and certifications according to the Engineering skills matrix
- Meet the annual billable hour goal defined by HBS
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in a technical related field
- Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience
- At least two or more Professional level certifications: CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA
- Experience designing and architecting network based solutions
- Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products
- Experience with IOS, IOS-XR, and NX-OS
- Experience/best practices with OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2/L3 architecture and design, Multicast, and QoS
- Maintain an outcome focused mindset

- Maintain current vendor/industry specific certifications
