About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and support systems services and solutions for consulting clients
- Build customer-focused relationships with clients to identify business challenges
- Develop specifications and requirements to arrive at the best solution
- Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures
- Execute large projects with Project Managers and Practice Leads on time and on budget
- Provide leadership to the Project Management Team and lead Engineers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely
- Serve as Lead Engineer on projects involving multiple technologies
- Provide daily project updates and proactively communicate timelines, hours, resources, and concerns
- Coordinate collaboration between different business units to provide a world-class customer experience
- Participate in team and customer meetings
- Contribute to product selection, research, configuration standards, and best practices
- Educate sales teams on products and services
- Collaborate across regional and virtual practices
- Maintain current certifications and stay current on new products and solutions
- Grow technical expertise, project experience, leadership, and certifications according to the Engineering skills matrix
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in a technical related field
- Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience
- At least two or more Associate level certifications
- CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA or equivalent work experience
- Experience designing and architecting systems-based solution
- Outcome-focused mindset
- Strong prioritization skills
- Team player
- Professional attitude and respectful demeanor
- Maintain current vendor/industry-specific certifications
- Meet annual billable hour goal, as defined by HBS
- Must be able to work in the Springfield, Missouri area for this hybrid-remote role
