About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong and lasting relationships
  • Understand client needs and provide consultative support in commodity derivatives and structured solutions
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers to design and implement risk management strategies
  • Deliver presentations, market insights, and reports to clients, providing actionable recommendations
  • Act as liaison between clients and internal teams (Sales, Trading, Operations, Quant) to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Monitor client activity, performance, and satisfaction, proactively addressing issues or opportunities
  • Support business development efforts by identifying cross-selling opportunities and new prospects
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commodities, derivatives, and market trends
  • Support the US Agriculture desk with servicing existing clients, expanding business opportunities, and building understanding and application of OTC and listed derivatives products in agribusiness risk management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Agriculture
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in grains merchandising, brokerage, agribusiness sales, or related services
  • Understanding of agriculture markets and client profiles, including farmers, coops, elevators, ethanol plants, mills, feed lots, and other relevant agriculture entities
  • Existing network of clients or connections in the agricultural industry
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of time
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and AI tools
  • Active Series 3 License, or willingness to acquire one with company support upon joining
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with consultative approach
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to understand the commercial needs of entities in the agribusiness industry
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Prior experience in commodity markets (grains, livestock, softs, energy)
  • Knowledge of risk management strategies in international markets
  • Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, or similar)
  • Familiar with futures and options usage in physical agriculture hedging
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
