About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in a 12-month Food and Beverage Manager-in-Training program
  • Shadow leaders within Outlets, Banquets, and Culinary departments
  • Complete shifts in each Outlet position and in the Banquets department
  • Attend Food and Beverage department meetings and hotel leadership meetings
  • Become proficient in the PMS and other Food and Beverage systems
  • Use labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs
  • Interact with customers and resolve problems to maintain customer satisfaction and quality
  • Learn and follow steps of service for all meal periods
  • Ensure compliance with Food and Beverage standard operating procedures and policies
  • Perform other assigned job-related duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recent or current graduate of a hospitality program preferred
  • Flexibility to relocate for placement after completion of the MIT program
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
  • Ability to comply with attendance rules and work regularly
  • Ability to work on-site
  • Recent college graduate program target
