About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support day-to-day financial accounting and month-end processes
  • Prepare and post journals, reconciliations, and adjustments across key accounts, including accruals and intercompany
  • Assist with monthly management reports and variance analysis
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement automation tools
  • Enhance financial controls and operations using technology and AI
  • Engage with non-finance teams to streamline financial processes and provide financial insights
  • Contribute to building a high-performance finance function
  • Support third-party accounting and tax providers with compliance and statutory obligations
  • Report to the Senior Financial Accountant in Australia
  • Support strategic projects and compliance activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA qualification
  • 3–5 years of experience in Financial/Corporate Accounting
  • Previous experience in Big 4 and/or in a multinational company
  • Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and/or IFRS
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
